Abstract
BACKGROUND: The revised definition of sepsis is life-threatening organ dysfunction caused by a dysregulated host response to infection (SEPSIS-3). The objective of this study was to evaluate procalcitonin (PCT) for the diagnosis and prognosis of sepsis using SEPSIS-3.Entities:
