The proportion of non-HOD and HOD patients were obtained using cross tabulation and the Pearson Chi-Square (χ2) test. Significant p values ≤ 0.05 at a 95% Confidence Interval. The odds ratio was generated by a binomial logistic regression model and was adjusted for all variables mentioned. POD: heroin opioid overdose; NA: Native American; OR: odds ratio; CI: confidence interval. HOD: heroin-overdose.
