Abstract
Axially chiral biaryl motifs are widely present in natural products and pharmaceuticals. Moreover, they have been broadly used as privileged ligands in asymmetric catalysis. Over the past few decades, the efficient synthesis of axially chiral biaryls has been a research topic of great interest. This feature article will provide an overview of recent advances in the synthesis of these chiral skeletons via transition metal-catalysed asymmetric C-H functionalization.Entities:
