Abstract
INTRODUCTION: Pyogenic spondylodiscitis is a bacterial infection affecting the intervertebral disc and its adjacent vertebrae. Although relatively rare, it is a challenging medical disease with a poor prognosis that requires immediate diagnosis and treatment with suitable antibiotics.
