Abstract
PURPOSE: Fertility preservation is an important issue for young cancer patients. Random-start controlled ovarian stimulation and double ovarian stimulation have been proposed for efficient oocyte retrieval within the limited time before cancer therapy. Conventional stimulation, first ovum pick up in follicular or luteal phase ovarian stimulation and second ovum pick up in follicular phase ovarian stimulation, and there is at least one menstruation during first ovum pick up and the start of second ovarian stimulation. Duostim, first ovum pick up in follicular or luteal phase ovarian stimulation and second ovum pick up in luteal phase ovarian stimulation, and there is no menstruation during first ovum pick up and the start of second ovarian stimulation.
