Abstract
BACKGROUND: The primary purpose of this study was to collect data on the oral health-related quality of life (OHRQoL) of individuals with x-linked hypophosphatemia (XLH). It was also designed to gather information on the period of diagnosis, oral symptoms, orthodontic therapy, and satisfaction with dental care and the healthcare system.Entities:

OHIP values between patients with and without oral manifestations (OM)
| Mean (SD) | Median | 95% Confidence Interval | ||
|---|---|---|---|---|
| With OM | 12.18 (8.76) | 11.00 | (8.29;16.06) | 0.295 |
| Without OM | 7.91 (8.12) | 6.00 | (2.75;13.08) |

Age and sex of participants, age of diagnosis, time interval from onset of the first symptoms to diagnosis, possible oral involvement, satisfaction with perceived quality of care by their dentist, satisfaction with health system and determined OHIP values. (n/s = not specified; F = female; M = male)
