Abstract
PURPOSE: Isolated iliac artery aneurysm (IIAA) is uncommon. It is frequently treated by endovascular aneurysm repair (EVAR). This study was to evaluate treatment results of IIAA and survey aortic diameter after EVAR.Entities:

Clinical characteristics of patients of isolated iliac artery aneurysm (IIAA)
Values are presented as number (%) or mean ± standard deviation.
IIAA, isolated iliac artery aneurysm.
a)Fisher exact test. b)Pooled t-test.
Characteristics of isolated iliac artery aneurysm (IIAA) according to Sandhu classification
Values are presented as number (%) or mean ± standard deviation.
Type A, isolated common iliac artery aneurysm (CIAA) with proximal and distal neck adequate for open or endovascular repair; type B, isolated CIAA with adequate proximal neck and aneurysmal disease extending to the common iliac bifurcation; type C, CIAA with adequate proximal neck and aneurysmal disease extending past the common iliac bifurcation to involve internal iliac arteries; type D, isolated internal iliac artery aneurysm without aneurysmal involvement of the CIA; type E, CIAA with inadequate proximal neck (aneurysm involving CIA ostium or aortic bifurcation) or bilateral CIAA or combined CIAA and abdominal aortic aneurysm.
a)Fisher exact test. b)Satterthwaite t-test.
Treatment options of isolated iliac artery aneurysm (IIAA)
OSR of IIAA, open surgical repair with aortoiliac artery reconstruction; EVAR, endovascular aneurysm repair; AUI and femfem bypass, aortouniiliac stent graft with femorofemoral arterial bypass; EVAR of IIAA with OSR of CFAA, endovascular repair of isolated iliac artery aneurysm with open surgical repair of common femoral artery.
P-value from Fisher exact test.
a)Analysis within each EVAR group and hybrid treatment group. b)Analysis in all group.
Treated options of isolated iliac artery aneurysm (IIAA) according to Sandhu classification
Values are presented as number (%).
Complications after treatment of isolated iliac artery aneurysm
Colonic ischemia, presented with paralytic ileus and colonoscopy showed superficial pale mucosa without transluminal ischemic change; MI, myocardial infarction; HF, heart failure; ARF, acute renal failure.
Changes in diameter of aorta, right common iliac artery (CIA), or and left CIA over time after treatment of isolated iliac artery aneurysm
Mixed model with autoregressive covariance structure for repeated measures.
Influence of type of stent graft on diameter of aorta, right common iliac artery (CIA), or left CIA over time
Mixed model with autoregressive cova.
