Abstract
Astrocyte response to unilateral injury of the cerebral hemisphere in newborn rats was studied both autoradiographically and immunocytochemically. Within the lesion area zones of increased number of labelled astrocytes were delimited. They were considered as evidence of reactive astrocyte proliferation in the rat brain injured at birth.Entities:
