Abstract
Hyaluronic acid (HA) is a mucopolysaccharide formed by the alternate connection of glucuronic acid and N-acetylglucosamine as disaccharide units. In recent years, people have a certain understanding of the chemical structure, properties, biosynthesis, metabolism, and preparation of HA. Based on the unique properties, HA and its derivatives were analyzed as carriers and in various drug delivery systems herein. This would be conducive to deepening the understanding of the applications of HA in drug delivery.Entities:
