Abstract
Percutaneous needle aspiration of occult, presumably fluid-filled masses with ultrasound guidance is more difficult when the abnormality is in a deep location or when the breasts are pendulous or flaccid. The fenestrated compression plate available on dedicated mammographic units provides easy access for needle insertion and immobilizes the breast, permitting accurate puncture and aspiration.Mesh:
