Abstract
BACKGROUND: Decreased physical performance, such as weakened handgrip strength and cognitive decline, is associated with disability and premature death in old age. We investigated the association between handgrip strength and cognitive impairment in Korean elderly adults with normal cognitive function.Entities:

| AIC[ | BIC[ | |
| Grip strength to cognition | 40,449.8[ | 40,477.4[ |
| Cognition to grip strength | 50,810.5[ | 50,838.2[ |
AIC, Akaike Information Criteria; BIC, Bayesian Information Criteria.
AIC and BIC were used for assessing model fit. Lower values indicate better model fit.
