Abstract
The current study surveyed first-year osteopathic medical students about dissection, multimedia dissector, split laboratories, VH (virtual human) dissector, ultrasonography, and prior experience of anatomical concepts. Students perceived cadaveric dissection, multimedia dissector, and ultrasonography laboratories as important contributors for learning anatomy. Students felt cadaveric dissection was an important factor in their medical school selection. Study results suggested students perceived integrated anatomy courses that utilized dissection and multimodal approaches to deliver anatomical information as highly effective.Entities:
