Abstract
Cystic Fibrosis (CF) is a common autosomal recessive disease that affects multiple organs due to a defect in the gene encoding the cystic fibrosis transmembrane conductance regulator (CFTR). This transporter is present in various organs and tissues, including the airway epithelium, sinuses, pancreas, intestine, biliary tree, the vas deferens, and the sweat ducts, making CF a multi-system disease1. As CF patients are living longer, pancreatic function declines and diabetes emerges, further complicating the nutritional status and care of these patients.Entities:
