Abstract
Depolarizations evoked by noradrenaline that were resistant to alpha- and beta-adrenoceptor antagonists were recorded in the rat basilar artery. These gamma-adrenoceptor-mediated responses and the depolarizations to adenosine triphosphate (ATP) were blocked by pretreatment of the tissue with alpha, beta-methylene ATP. These data are discussed with respect to the selectivity of alpha, beta-methylene ATP.Entities:
