Abstract
BACKGROUND: As the most common cholangiocarcinoma, hilar cholangiocarcinoma (HCCA) is a challenge in hepatobiliary surgery and causes a very poor prognosis. This study was designed to explore whether 18F-fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography/computed tomography (18F-FDG PET/CT) may be a suitable method for preoperative diagnosis and evaluation of Chinese older patients with hilar cholangiocarcinoma.Entities:
