Use of nonradioactive DNA probes for the detection of infectious bacteria.

M Pollice, H L Yang.

Abstract

Application of the biotinylated DNA probe systems in the detection of Chlamydia trachomatis and penicillin-resistant Neisseria gonorrhoeae is presented. The three formats employed are the dot-blot, in-situ, and Southern hybridization.
