Abstract
OBJECTIVE: Ensiling of tannin-rich fruit byproducts (FB) involves quantitative and qualitative changes in the tannins, which would consequently change the rumen fermentation characteristics. This study aimed to evaluate whether ensiled FBs are effective in mitigating methane emission from ruminants by conducting in vitro assessments.Entities:

Numbers in parenthesis indicate number of cultivation bottles in the experiment.
The result of postestimation showed that the following pairs were significantly different (p<0.01): (CONT−PEG) vs (FRE−PEG), (CONT−PEG) vs (SIL−PEG), (CONT−PEG) vs (SIL+PEG), (CONT+PEG) vs (FRE−PEG), and (FRE−PEG) vs (FRE+PEG).
Values within the row with different superscripts are significantly different (p<0.05).
