Abstract

The shape of rings to come: The first members of a new family of simple-to-prepare octahedral analogues of the tetrahedral Sauvage catenates are described. M=Mn2+ , Fe2+ , Co2+ , Ni2+ , Cu2+ , Zn2+ , Cd2+ , Hg2+ .
