Abstract
A previously healthy, HIV-negative, 67-year-old man developed rapidly progressive glomerulonephritis. Following "pulse" methylprednisolone therapy he developed Pneumocystis carinii pneumonia. This complication should be recognized as a potential hazard of "pulse" steroid therapy.Entities:
