Abstract
Psychoanalytic psychotherapy can afford a viable treatment option for certain carefully chosen patients whose needs go beyond the immediate control of substance use. Though the evidence base specifically for addictions is lacking, an emerging body of evidence has demonstrated good effect in the commonly seen co-morbid conditions such as depression, anxiety and personality pathology.Entities:
