Abstract
The pink muscle of the carp differs from the white (and red) muscle not only histochemically but also in its myosin isoform, as shown by peptide maps of the myosin heavy chains. Results of an electrophoretic analysis of myosins are discussed in the light of their immunohistochemical properties and histochemical ATPase activity.Entities:
