Abstract
Teachers often undertake nighttime work involving exam corrections, projects and devising lesson plans in their homes. Many present excessive daytime sleepiness (EDS) and depression.Entities:

Figure 1Result for presence of excessive daytime sleepiness in 201 teachers from public schools of Quipapa/PE, comprising 38 subjects working only 1 shift, 40 working 2 shifts and 123 working 3 shifts. Subjects were evaluated by self-reported questionnaire with eight questions called the Epworth Sleepiness Scale (ESS), describing in detail the chance of dozing off. Statistics: Kruskal-Wallis test with the Dunn multiple comparison test, p<0.05. Data expressed as Median (Minimum - Maximum).
