Abstract
Background and aims: The insulin pathway may play a role in development of colorectal cancer (CRC). In this study, we investigated associations between CRC and obesity in Egyptians with reference to single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) in the insulin-like growth factor-1 (IGF-I) gene. We also studied serum levels of IGF-1in Egyptian CRC patients with different BMI values.Entities:
