Abstract
We report the case of a 70-year-old man who underwent surgery to fixate a subluxated intraocular lens. A 10-0 polypropylene suture that had been placed 13 years prior was retrieved intraoperatively and subsequently imaged using electron microscopy. The suture showed no clinically significant signs of biodegradation.Entities:
