The instructions to the participants are thus defined: “Dear [PARTICIPANT NAME], as a result of leprosy, its possible intercurrences and its different symptoms, we would like to know how this has affected the way you behave with others and how other people behave with you. There is no right or wrong answer. Take your time, reflect and answer what is true for you. You can ask the interviewer to repeat the questions as many times as necessary. Remember that all questions refer to your getting sick with leprosy”.
