Abstract
Single doses of ketanserin (20 or 40 mg) and placebo were compared in a double-blind cross-over study in 10 patients with chronic stable angina treated with a beta-adrenoceptor antagonist. Ketanserin had no significant effect on the exercise time to angina, the rate of ST segment depression, or the circulatory response to exercise. The 95% confidence limits indicate that ketanserin is unlikely to increase exercise time to angina by more than 20%.Entities:
