Abstract
A serious respiratory tract infection due to Corynebacterium ulcerans was observed in a 70-year-old woman. Clinical presentation included pseudomembranes in the upper respiratory tract and lung involvement. C. ulcerans was recovered from the nose of the patient's dog. Both dog's and patient's isolates belonged to Sequence Type 331.Entities:
