Abstract
Congestive heart failure (CHF) is a well-known disorder in feline practice, having been recognized as the most common clinical syndrome in cats with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, for example. This article identifies the reasons why an accurate diagnosis of CHF is important and the means by which to obtain one; pharmacologic and nonpharmacologic methods for controlling signs of CHF; and recommendations for follow-up evaluations, monitoring, and troubleshooting.Entities:
