NOTE. An analysis of variance was used to find group differences in continuous variables, whereas a Pearson χ2 test was used to find group differences in categorical variables. The PPVT score presented here is the standardized score, as opposed to the age equivalent score used in the analysis. This was done for an easier comparison to IQ.
