Abstract
BACKGROUND: Congenital thrombophilia is associated with an increased intraventricular hemorrhage (IVH) risk among newborns, but it may also play a protective role. The role of genetic polymorphisms involved in the coagulation pathway of IVH pathogenesis is probably a consequence of an increased risk of thrombosis in the fine blood vessels in the germinal matrix region.Entities:
