Abstract
Pressure injury prevention is required in all health care environments. Respiratory technology includes invasive and noninvasive positive pressure ventilation methods of support and life-saving equipment. Pressure injury can occur from tracheostomy tubes and their securement devices, or use of noninvasive positive pressure ventilation interfaces or the head gear. Methods instituted to decrease hospital-acquired pressure injury related to noninvasive positive pressure ventilation and tracheostomy securement devices are discussed.Entities:
