Abstract
BACKGROUND: Hip fracture is a common health problem in the elderly that is associated with increased mortality. Acute kidney injury (AKI) is a frequent complication in elderly patients undergoing surgery and is associated with the clinical outcome. We evaluated the incidence and risk factors of AKI in elderly patients undergoing hip fracture surgery and the impact of AKI on short- and long-term clinical outcomes.Entities:
