Abstract
Nonfat dried milk is routinely used as a blocking agent and diluent in immunoassays. However, the data presented in this paper demonstrate that milk contains an inhibitor of the biotin-streptavidin interaction. It is recommended that milk be dialyzed or used at lower concentrations when it is employed as a diluent of streptavidin.Entities:
