A score >14 indicates the presence of overt autistic symptoms. Question 1: Fails to give close attention to details or makes careless mistakes in schoolwork or tasks. Question 11: Leaves seat in situations or in other situations in which remaining seated is expected. Question 12: Runs about or climbs excessively in situations in which it is inappropriate. Question 13: Has difficulty playing or engaging in leisure activities quietly. Question 14: Is “on the go,” or often acts as if “driven by a motor.” Question 15: Talks excessively. Question 16: Blurts out answers before questions have been completed. Question 17: Has difficulty waiting a turn. Question 18: Interrupts or intrudes on others.
