Abstract
OBJECTIVE: Therapeutic hypothermia (TH) has become the standard strategy for reducing brain damage in the postresuscitation period. The aim of this study was to investigate current TH performance and outcomes in out-of-hospital cardiac arrest (OHCA) survivors using data from the Korean Hypothermia Network (KORHN) registry.Entities:

Fig. 2.Survival and neurological outcomes at discharge. Survival and neurological outcomes at discharge of the 930 patients with out-of-hospital cardiac arrests (OHCAs) treated with therapeutic hypothermia (TH) included in the study, divided into first monitored rhythm of ventricular fibrillation (Vf)/pulseless ventricular tachycardia (VT), asystole, pulseless electrical activity (PEA), and unknown. A good neurological outcome was defined as cerebral performance category (CPC) 1 or 2.
