Abstract
BACKGROUND: Mortality in patients with end-stage renal disorders is often a consequence of cardiovascular complications. Renal replacement therapies may contribute to this morbidity by promoting cellular activation. In renal failure patients peripheral blood samples were investigated for platelet and endothelial cell activation markers to compare the effects of haemodiafiltration (HDF) and haemodialysis (HD).Entities:
