Abstract
Thermal destruction of the endometrium for treatment of dysfunctional uterine bleeding was accomplished with a urologic resectoscope with ball-end electrode in 15 patients. After at least 6 months of follow-up, ten experienced amenorrhea and four hypomenorrhea. One failure occurred; the patient underwent vaginal hysterectomy 4 months after the procedure and was found to have adenomyosis.Entities:
