Abstract
PURPOSE: The systemic inflammation biomarker, Neutrophil-to-Lymphocyte Ratio (NLR), has been reported as one of the adverse prognostic factors for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) patient. The purpose of this study was to evaluate whether NLR could predict the risk of recurrence and death for the HCC patient, according to Milan criteria after hepatectomy.Entities:

Fig. 3(A and B) Kaplan-Meier survival analysis the overall survival and recurrence free survival of the present study patients. (C and D) Kaplan-Meier survival analysis patients with NLR >1.505 have a shorter recurrence free survival time, however, there were no difference on overall survival. NLR, Neutrophil-Lymphocyte Ratio.
Fig. 4Kaplan-Meier survival analysis shows that the patients who experience early recurrence have a significantly lower overall survival.
