Abstract
BACKGROUND: Kirsten rat sarcoma viral oncogene (KRAS) mutation is one of the major driver genes of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). KRAS is a resistant predictor of epidermal growth factor receptor tyrosine kinase inhibitors (EGFR-TKIs), which raises controversy because of its role in chemotherapy sensitivity and prognosis.
