P < 0.05, poor vs. good sleepers; Student’s t-test was used to compare age, haemoglobin, serum albumin, total cholesterol, triglycerides, LDL-C, calcium, phosphorus, spKt/V, URR, PCS score, MCS score and total SF-36 score; Mann–Whitney U-test was used to compare duration of dialysis, HDL-C, iPTH, ferritin and ESS score; all categorical variables were analysed using χ2-test.
