Abstract
INTRODUCTION: The efficacy of pulmonary vein isolation (PVI) in atrial fibrillation (AF) is well documented. Several single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) are associated with AF, mainly in the 4q25 locus, but also in 16q22 and 1q21.
