Figure 1.Bone marrow biopsy and aspiration at diagnosis. The majority (60.8%) of scattered cells were immature blast cells. The blasts were small to medium in size with fine nuclear chromatin, distinct nucleoli, and scanty basophilic cytoplasm. Some also had cytoplasmic protrusions.
