Abstract
Diabetes mellitus is rare during infancy, however, it should be suspected in infants presenting with features consistent with sepsis and hyperglycemia. This is crucial in initiating the treatment of diabetes ketoacidosis which if delayed may result in significant morbidity and death.Entities:
