Recreation facilities, grocery stores and supercenters, and fast food restaurant data are from the USDA Economic Research Service Food Environment Atlas and the U.S. Census Bureau County Business Patterns. All other data is obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau: 2005–2009 American Community Survey 5-year Estimates and the 2000 Decennial U.S. Census. N = 3,109.
