Note: Adjustment was for all other variables in the table. In addition, the following time-dependent covariates were adjusted for: suicide attempt, inpatient care due to mental/somatic diagnoses and inclusion in the labour market (minimum annual salary). In addition: (specific outcomes are mentioned in brackets): long-term unemployment/year (for outcome disability pension, sickness absence) and long-term sickness absence (for outcome unemployment). All time-dependent covariates were dichotomized and controlled for each year of follow-up.
