Abstract
A novel method of skin closure is detailed for surgical removal of tumors in patients with aging or thin and fragile skin. A polyethylene film with an acrylate adhesive was used as an adjunct to the dermis to help provide stability for suturing. Cases are presented with clinical photographs to demonstrate how this technique may prevent wound complications in elderly patients or those with fragile skin.Entities:
