Analyses were performed separately in each cohort of FHS, and in the combined FHS (Offspring + 3rd Generation), and separately in AA and HA of WHI in the combined WHI (AA+HA). Meta-analyses of the association of FTO with BMI and TSS were performed on the estimates of FHS-combined and WHI-combined.
