Mean (SD) age for married is 23.6 (3.6) years, and for unmarried is 18.0 (3.3) years.
In married females, debut is linear if disaggregated in the model as follows: age <12 years (64.3%) AOR 0.40 (95%CI 0.18–0.93); age 12–14 years (65.0%) AOR 0.55(95%CI 0.39–0.76); 15–17 years (70.8%) AOR 0.71(95%CI 0.53–0.95) vs. 18 years ≥ (78.5%) (chi-squared 20.8; p < 0.001).
Partner violence determined by response to question, “Has your sexual partner in the past year hit/slapped/kicked or done anything else to hurt you physically?”
AOR, adjusted odds ratio; 95%CI, 95% confidence interval; SD, standard deviation.
