Abstract
BACKGROUND: Predicting risk of adverse healthcare outcomes, among community dwelling older adults, is difficult. The Risk Instrument for Screening in the Community (RISC) is a short (2-5 min), global subjective assessment of risk created to identify patients' 1-year risk of three outcomes:institutionalisation, hospitalisation and death.Entities:

Binary logistic regression models comparing predictors of (a) institutionalization, (b) hospitalisation and (c) death. Models 2 (a, b, c) include the Clinical Frailty Scale, model 3 (a, b, c) the RISC score, with the significance value of model change denoting increased predictive accuracy of the model relative to models 1 (a, b, c) respectively
