Laboratory ranges for blood parameters were as follows; serum albumin (normal range 35 – 50 g/L), sodium (normal range 135 – 145 mmol/L) lymphocytes (normal range 1 – 3.5 × 109/L), platelets (normal range 150 – 400 × 109/L) , LDH (normal range 100 – 250 U/L) and haemoglobin (normal range, male 13 – 18 g/dL, female 11.5 – 15.5 g/dl).
